The forthcoming 35th annual symposium of the Romanian Association of Geomorphologists will take place in
Timișoara, in the western part of Romania. The purpose of this conference is to bring together experts and
students working in the field of geomorphology to discuss novels insights and relevant findings into earth surface
processes and landforms. The conference topics cover all relevant aspects of geomorphology. The language of
the conference will be English.

28th February 2019: 2nd announcement of the symposium
30th March 2019: deadline for abstract submission
15th April 2019: abstract acceptance notification
30th April, 2019: deadline for registration, conference fee payment

Filed trip (Muntele Mic Massif)

Post-conference field trip

A full-day field trip will be organized in the Muntele Mic Massif (Țarcu Mountains) and will focus on mountain
environment, various types of slope processes. Transport to the excursion sites will be by bus (Timișoara –
Muntele Mic). The lunch will be served in the Muntele Mic resort

Registration and fees

The registration and abstract submission will be open in 15th of December 2018. For the registration, an abstract
of proposed oral/poster presentation should be forwarded to the organizers at: geomorpho.tm@gmail.com. The
abstract should contain: title of the presentation, type (oral/poster), authors and abstract (500 words maximum).
Standard registration fee: 400 RON (85 €)
Student fee: 250 RON (55 €)
The price includes: conference materials and book of abstracts, ice-breaker party, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners.
The excursion will cost 110 RON (25 €) and includes transport, sandwiches for the field and lunch.
The fees will be paid with bank money transfer on AGR count, IBAN RO84INGB0000999907516802.

The conference will take place at the West University of Timișoara, Blvd. Vasile Pârvan, No. 4, 300223, Timisoara.
